3 Day 4WD Kakadu/ Litchfield 'Safari in Style'
|
|
Comfortable yet
adventurous, Safari in Style lets you experience
stunning views, spectacular waterfalls and traditional
Aboriginal culture all with the promise of a glass
of Australian wine and a comfy bed at the end
of the day. For those who like to travel in style.
Our
'SAFARI IN STYLE' product is designed for those
wanting a comfortable but adventurous small group
tour. Whilst not a luxury tour (passengers have
to walk to shared shower and toilet facilities),
SAFARI IN STYLE is considerably more comfortable
than our budget program in terms of service and
facilities offered. SAFARI accommodation features
twin share beds in spacious permanent tents with
interior lights and fans. All linen, pillows and
towels are provided. Our menu features quality
produce and a glass of Australian wine with evening
meals. In addition to the guide, a host will be
on board (**when passenger numbers exceed 6) to
enable a better level of service and a greater
variety of quality meals.

Leaving Darwin we head south to the magical Litchfield National
Park to experience stunning waterfalls which flow year round.

through rainforest or swim in the plunge pool below. Experience
the natural spa at Buley Rockhole and take a refreshing
swim at Wangi Falls. You will also discover the impressive
termite mounds which are scattered throughout the park.
This afternoon's highlight is the Pudakul Cultural Experience

journey deep into Kakadu National Park with a chance for a
swim this morning. For the adventurous, put your hiking shoes
on and head to the top of Gunlom
Falls where you will be rewarded with stunning
views over Kakadu and amazing clear pools. For those who prefer
a more relaxed stroll, the base of the waterfall provides
the opportunity to swim, surrounded by paperbark trees and
the cliff face. Gain a further insight into the Aboriginal
culture at the Warradjan Cultural Centre where you
can read some of the dreamtime stories. Get ready for some
4WD action as we head into Twin Falls. Access to the
